In Nepal, funds were raised to finish our Sherpa friend’s house that was damaged in the earthquake. He is aging and climbs Everest as a very dangerous job. Hopefully with his house finished, he will now be able to stay home and be safe. We tried to assist his son in a job but were unsuccessful in helping him with a visa. Please be conscious of your political choices. They have serious impact on our friends around the world. In addition, two of our Sherpas’ children are now sponsored for 12 years in school. This will give them a chance to hopefully be able to support themselves when they get older.
